Lung Foundation Australia is coming to Canberra. The 2013 Patient Education Day in the Australian Capital Territory will be held on Wednesday, 17 April and will cover topics to inform and educate patients and carers living with a lung condition. The event is also relevant to health professionals working with respiratory patients.
This year, attendees will enjoy presentations from our highly experienced and informative guest speakers covering three topics:
· Breathlessness – Its cause and management Strategies
· Understanding your Personal Plumbing
· Latest Developments in Lung Disease.
The event will be held in Corinna Room 2 at the Canberra Southern Cross Club, 92-96 Corinna Street, Woden, Canberra commencing at 9.45am and finishing at 2.00pm. The cost is $15 which includes lunch and refreshments.
Anyone can come along, whether they are a patient, a carer or a family member wishing to find out more information about lung health. We also welcome members of the public who have an interest in respiratory health.
