2013 May 6 – Lung Foundation Australia educates Perth patients on respiratory health

Lung Foundation Australia is coming to Perth.  The 2013 Patient Education Day in Western Australia will be held on Wednesday, 15 May and will cover topics to inform and educate patients and carers living with a lung condition.  The event is also relevant to health professionals working with respiratory patients.  

This year, attendees will enjoy presentations from our highly experienced and informative guest speakers covering three topics:

·         Wise Use of Antibiotics

·         Stem Cell Research

·         Breathing, Breathlessness and How to Relieve It.

The event will be held in the Boulevard Hall at the Boulevard Centre, 99 The Boulevard, Floreat, Perth commencing at 9.45am and finishing at 2.00pm.  The cost is $15 which includes lunch and refreshments.

Anyone can come along, whether they are a patient, a carer or a family member wishing to find out more information about lung health.   We also welcome members of the public who have an interest in respiratory health.  The Education Day will provide you with the opportunity to find out more about Lung Foundation Australia, meet with members of the Perth Patient Support Groups, interact with our specialised Trade Displays and ask our experts questions about their presentation topics.
