Australian Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Registry – trials recruiting now
As outlined previously, one of the Australian IPF Registry’s aims is to maximise recruitment into IPF clinical trials, thereby supporting the development of novel therapies. A number of IPF clinical trials are planned that will offer anti-fibrotic medication in both their placebo and active arm. A summary of IPF clinical trials currently recruiting in Australia is listed in Table 1. Further clinical trials in IPF are anticipated later this year, so do stay in touch with your respiratory physician if you are interested in participating in a trial.
