CPD Points Increased for Asbestos-Related Disease/Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma Online Nurses Education Program

Lung Foundation Australia’s Asbestos-Related Disease/Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma (ARD/MPM) Online Nurses Education Program has been re-evaluated by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) and allocated 18 CPD hours. Previously this online training program was allocated 9.5 CPD points.

The ARD/MPM Nurse Education Program has been designed to help nurses develop an understanding of best practice care for patients with ARD/MPM. The program takes three months to complete with 10 – 15 nurses enrolled to undertake the study period as a cohort led by our Nurse Educator.

The ARD/MPM Online Nurses Education Program is now endorsed by ACN according to their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Endorsed Course Standards.
