Dr Luke Knibbs – University of Queensland

Dr Luke Knibbs is a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Health at UQ and joined the School of Public Health in 2012.

Prior to that he did 3 years’ postdoctoral training at QUT’s International Laboratory for Air Quality and Health. He has a special interest in air pollution, bioaerosols, and novel approaches to improving exposure assessment in environmental epidemiology.

He also has an interest in broader environmental health issues spanning chemical, physical and biological risk factors. He previously held an NHMRC Early Career Fellowship (2012-15) awarded for research into bioaerosols and their role in infection. He is involved in supervising Honours and Research Higher Degree students.
