Dr Robyn Schofield – University of Melbourne

Dr Robyn Schofield is a Lecturer for climate system science in the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne. She is an atmospheric chemist having conducted extensive work on stratospheric ozone loss chemistry, aerosol microphysics and trace-gas retrievals using remote sensing techniques.

She is currently managing the build of a National mobile facility ‘AIR-BOX’ – a custom designed shipping container’ facilitating campaign based measurements of atmospheric composition in the Australian and Southern Ocean regions.

She has recently been appointed chair of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society’s expert group on Atmospheric and Oceanic Composition serving the inaugural term from 2016-2019.
