Breathlessness/Scleroderma in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

In this two-part webinar Dr David Michail, Respiratory Physician, will provide insight into the characteristics, impact and management of breathlessness in Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) and PAH. In the second half of the session, Dr Michail will focus on scleroderma and its connection to PAH. Pamela Wilkinson who has lived with scleroderma for over 30 years and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension for over 3 years will join the event to share her story and personal ways of dealing with a chronic life affecting lung disease.

Overview of Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH)
Speaker: Dr John Feenstra, Thoracic Physician
In this session, Dr John Feenstra will provide an overview of Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH). Dr Feenstra is the Director of the Wesley Hospital Pulmonary Hypertension Unit in Brisbane, which was established in 2008 to provide assessment and management of pulmonary hypertension. The unit has a senior clinical nurse and researchers under his supervision. Dr Feenstra is currently involved in clinical trials in a number of areas including pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
