Dr Lauren Kelada will join us to highlight the way parents as carers can support their own wellbeing, and balance this with the needs of their families. Speaker biography
Dr Lauren Kelada is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Behavioural Sciences Unit, School of Women’s and Children’s Health, UNSW Medicine and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on improving family functioning and mental health outcomes for children affected by chronic illness or disability and their family members. Dr Kelada works closely with the community sector to implement and evaluate family-based interventions when a child has a chronic illness or disability.
