Yes you can. We suggest you register as an individual and we’ll ensure you’re added to a team.
If you have less than five team members, you can register individually. If you do happen to have five team members closer to the event, be sure to let us know and we’ll ensure you’re grouped as a team.
If you know all team members names at time of registration that is ok as long as you have a nominated captain.  You can then send us all names later.
Yes, a receipt will be sent to the email address provided when making an online donation.
If you make a donation to your own fundraising goal, any donations over $2.00 are deductible. A receipt will be sent to the email address provided when a donation is made.
If you receive any cash donations or cheques they can be added to your fundraising page total by emailing us at lfaevents@lungfoundation.com.au.

Cheques should be made payable to Lung Foundation Australia and forwarded with the name and address of the donor (so a receipt can be issued) to:

Lung Foundation Australia, PO Box 1949, Milton QLD 4064

Remember to include your name and highlight that you are a participant in the Corporate Cycle Challenge so the donation can be correctly accredited to your fundraising total.

Individuals:

If you are registering as an individual please click here to sign up with our fundraising platform Grassrootz  and to set up your page. You will also receive this information in an email once you register.

Teams:

If you are registering as a team – we will set up your team fundraising page for you and will send the link to the nominated team captain.  Team members will be able to join the team via the Team Page.  This will take them through the process of setting up their individual fundraising pages.

Not at all! The more riders you have in your team, the more laps you do and you might win one of the prizes up for grabs. If you are just out to have fun then it is entirely up to you and your team how many laps you do.
The cycle challenge will be finished by 1pm, but will be followed by the lunch and the awards. Your company might even choose to support the event through a community day.
No unfortunately the ride is not tax deductable as you receive something in return for your registration fee. Only donations are fully tax deductable..
The venue has food stalls and will be selling food and drinks throughout the day. Riders can access this at their convenience. At the end of the event lunch will be provided in the function room to all participants (cash bar only – so bring your wallets).
Lung Foundation Corporate Cycle Challenge has been sanctioned by Cycling Australia and as such, each participant will obtain a Day Pass specific for the event This cost is included in your registration fee.
This provides riders with full comprehensive third party cover during the event and will ensure all riders participating have the appropriate cover to participate safely.

All applicants need to read and sign off on the Terms & Conditions of the Day Permit You will be supplied with a copy on the day at registration.

  1. Any bicycle in good working condition
  2. Australian approved bike helmet
  3. Sunscreen
  4. Wet weather gear and a change of clothes
  5. Specific food and drink you that will help get you through the day
Ensure you are comfortable and safe in your clothing, however, anything goes.  From full lycra to a monkey suit – as long as you’re peddling and having fun.

If you would like to wear team kit, please do so – this could help with your team fundraising as you can sell off logo advertising space on your kit to your business clients

Yes, your colleagues, family and friends are welcome to join you at the venue to cheer you and your team on.
We invite all riders to join us for a free lunch in the function room upstairs from the track (cash bar only).  This is also the prize giving ceremony.

  • If travelling via public transport:  Catch the train BRCA Brisbane City to Caboolturefrom Central station, platform 6 to Dakabin station, platform 2, Dakabin.  It is then a short cycle or walk to Lakeside Raceway.
