Lung Cancer Network Australia update
Changing the Face of Lung Cancer social media campaign – a Lung Foundation Australia first!
Lung Foundation Australia’s Changing the Face of Lung Cancer social media campaign was launched on 4 February as part of World Cancer Day. The campaign featured two powerful patient videos which were viewed by more than 170,000 people. We sincerely thank Lillian Leigh and David McDonald for generously taking the time to share their experiences on film. In addition, eight other lung cancer patients kindly shared their stories as part of the campaign. They can be viewed at www.lungfoundation.com.au/changing-the-face-of-lung-cancer/.
Cancer Australia: Supporting People With Cancer grant initiative
Lung Foundation Australia was recently awarded another round of funding via the Supporting People With Cancer grant to develop and deliver a set of patient-centred evidence-based webinars. These webinars aim to improve health literacy, promote self-management of lung cancer and to help connect, educate and support Australian lung cancer patients, particularly those in geographically and socially isolated communities.
Better Living With Lung Cancer Consumer Forum – August 2016

We are looking for topic suggestions so if you have any ideas, please contact Kerrie Callaghan on 1800 654 301 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
