New collaboration supporting early career health research students

Lung Foundation Australia is delighted to announce our new partnership with the Better Breathing Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which supports early career allied health research students to conduct high quality research on chronic lung diseases.

Through this new and exciting collaboration, we will be offering PhD Scholarships to support early career allied health research students complete their doctoral studies and find solutions and improve care for those living with a chronic lung disease.

The Better Breathing Foundation, which was established by Dr Zoe McKeough from the University of Sydney has already funded its first allied health PhD via its fundraising efforts.

This new Lung Foundation Australia/Better Breathing Foundation Allied Health PhD Scholarship for Lung Disease Research will form part of Lung Foundation Australia’s annual Research Awards Program. Applications for this new PhD scholarship will open mid-year 2017.
