New grants promote women leaders in the health care sector

New grants promote women leaders

Following an overwhelming response from health care sector women to a preliminary release of National Industry Scholarship Grant initiative in March this year, the initiative will now be rolled out nationally throughout 2015 and 2016.

From 1 July 2015, the initiative provides grants for leadership development for women in the health care sector. Grant applications are open to women employed in the Health care sector at two levels – senior and high potential leaders as well as emerging and mid-level managers.

For more information, please click on the preferred program link for program and Grant Application details below.

  1. Senior level and high potential women leaders can apply for $12,000 Individual Grants to undertake the Advanced Leadership Program.
  2. Emerging and mid-level managers can apply for $4,500 Individual Grants to undertake the Accelerated Leadership Performance Program.

While there is not set closing date, interested parties should submit applications at their earliest convenience.
