Patient seminars providing the latest tips for managing your lung disease
Patient seminars provide patients and carers with the latest evidence-based information and practical tips to help them to live better, stay out of hospital and improve their overall quality of life as well as to meet other people who live with a lung condition.
In March, Lung Foundation Australia held the first patient seminar for 2017 in Sunnybank on the south side of Brisbane. The participants benefitted from the informative presentations on Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis and how good nutrition can improve the energy levels of people with a lung disease, as well as maintain a healthy weight.
Lung Foundation Australia is rolling out a further 11 patient seminars across the year nation-wide. We are delighted to have received funding from corporate partners including Air Liquide Healthcare, Medical Developments International, Oxygen Solutions and ResMed, as well as local sponsors and community grants. This has enabled us to organise events in new locations including Geraldton, Wollongong, and Geelong. Please see the Diary Dates section for dates of each seminar and invitations will be sent via LungNet News and to non-members via email.
