The advisory line is part of the broader Decision Assist program, an Australian Government-funded program working to support aged care staff, nurses and GPs nationally. In addition to the phone line, Decision Assist builds linkages in the health and aged care sectors and offers workshops to nurses and GPs in order to improve access to palliative care and advance care planning services for older Australians.
