Register Now to Receive Updates on the Australian Bronchiectasis Registry

The Australian Bronchiectasis Registry (ABR) is a non-commercial research project initiated by a group of Respiratory Specialists together with Lung Foundation Australia.

The aim of the Registry is to identify and collect health information from patients with non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis in order to aid research into the causes, treatment and potentially a cure/vaccination for this debilitating disease which affects both adults and children.

A key collaborative partnership with the American and European Bronchiectasis registries has been established to combine knowledge, leverage existing IT infrastructure and optimise research outcomes.

The pilot stage will include a limited rollout to 10 representative sites across Australia (NSW, Qld, Vic, SA, NT, and WA). However, in the second stage, includes plans for a wider expansion across a mix of metropolitan, rural and remote sites with the potential for incorporating value-added ancillary studies.

We encourage all health professionals to register for updates on the Australian Bronchiectasis Registry by emailing abr@lungfoundation.com.
