Save the Date for World COPD Day 2016!

16 November is World COPD Day. You can get involved by holding your own activity to raise awareness about the symptoms, risk factors and management for COPD.  One in seven Australians 40 years or older has COPD and half of those who have progressed to a stage where they are experiencing symptoms will not know that they have it.[1],[2]

Your World COPD Day activity could include:

  • Free lung function screening
  • Static displays/info stands
  • Pharmacy displays and/or activities

By helping Lung Foundation Australia raise awareness you will help drive early detection of this disabling disease.  Every health professional event registered gets a FREE pack of promotional materials.  Website registrations open 1st September. http://worldcopdday.lungfoundation.com.au/
