Test your lungs on the 2013 Tuffy’s Kokoda Challenge
Once again this year Brisbane retiree and fitness enthusiast, Shane Talbot, will take on the iconic Kokoda Track Challenge in honour of his great mate, Peter Tuffield (aka Tuffy), who is battling lung cancer. Shane is determined to take positive action in the fight against lung cancer and will undertake Tuffy’s Kokoda Trek to raise funds for lung cancer research.
Tuffy is a much-loved regional Bank Manager in Bundaberg. With retirement in sight, Tuffy developed a persistent cough which became worse. After numerous doctor appointments and having been misdiagnosed for six months, Tuffy was finally diagnosed with lung cancer.
Shane is looking for other likeminded fitness enthusiasts to join him on Tuffy’s Kokoda Challenge departing for Port Moresby on 6th September 2013. To have a chat about this endurance challenge, please email Shane at firstname.lastname@example.org, and he will contact you ASAP (please provide a phone number).
Tuffy’s Kokoda Challenge will be led by the team from Executive Excellence. Visit the Executive Excellence web page to learn more about Kokoda trekking or contact Executive Excellence on 07 36370300 or by email via their web page – https://www.executiveexcellence.com.au/
A donation will go a long way to help fund Lung Cancer research but we are challenging you to test your lungs and take on the Kokoda Track. To make a tax deductible donation to Tuffy's Kokoda Challenge please go to www.tuffyskokodachallenge.com
