Welcome to the February 2016 edition of LungNet News
Welcome to the February 2016 edition of LungNet News and Happy New Year to all our readers.
This year, we are introducing a theme to each newsletter and the focus of this issue is self-management. We draw your attention to the articles on managing daily activities with shortness of breath below; the importance of the services provided by community pharmacies to COPD patients on page eight; and the article on a little known lung disease called nontuberculous mycobacterium (NTM) on page six. We hope you will also be interested in the article on page three which provides a snapshot of the results of the patient survey we included with LungNet News in August 2015.
We take this opportunity to remind you of the availability of our self-management resources, particularly the Better Living with Your Lung Disease DVDs. This series of 10 topics aims to increase the knowledge and confidence of people living with lung disease to enable them to better manage their condition and its symptoms and their overall wellbeing.
