Gavin Fisher – Environment Protection Authority Victoria
Gavin Fisher is a Senior Applied Scientist – Air Emissions Management in the Environmental Solutions Unit of EPA Victoria. He is an air quality scientist with some 30 years’ experience in most aspects of the field. He has been at EPA Victoria for two years, having come from a research background in NZ.
He has been involved in many air quality and health studies over the last 15 years and has acted as reviewer on several large projects and grant applications.
He is currently involved with an EPA project to develop a new air quality exposure methodology for Australian locations, designed to address the requirements of the recent NEPM revisions.
He is also involved with a current project to revitalise the EPA air monitoring network, which has an increased focus on meeting community expectations and providing input for public health studies.
