Long Kayak For Lungs
On 10 August, Lung Foundation Australia supporter Bill van Nierop is taking his fundraising efforts to new heights with a 2,200km challenge over 42 days, kayaking from Albury to the mouth of the Murray River. Bill, who lives with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), is raising awareness and funds for research and support for people living with IPF – a debilitating and life-threatening lung disease. This isn’t his first fundraising challenge. Last year Bill trekked 697km across NSW, raising more than $100,000 towards vital research into IPF and funding a three-year research project. Follow Bill on his incredible journey and show your support here.
