Join us for the fifth webinar in Lung Foundation Australia’s free webinar series, Lung Cancer Connect. The six-part series provides patients, carers, family and friends, as well as interested health professionals, with information, advice and support about living with lung cancer.

The webinar will be hosted by Lung Foundation Australia’s Lung Cancer Support Nurse, Louise Underhill, and will highlight the challenges with accessing care and treatment when living rural, regional, and remote. Clinicians will discuss ways to reduce the feelings of isolation and stay in regular contact with your team.

Participants will be able to watch the webinar live and ask questions from the comfort of their home; all you need is a computer and internet access. Once you have registered, we will send you a simple step-by-step guide to log into the webinar.

Please note: This webinar is from 4pm – 5pm AEDT

Presenters

  • Dr Wasek Faisal, Medical Oncologist at Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre
  • Paula Nelson, Thoracic Liaison Nurse, The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus

The Lung Cancer Connect project is a Cancer Australia Supporting people with cancer Grant initiative, funded by the Australian Government.
