In collaboration with the Centre for Research Excellent (CRE) Dr Jeremy Wrobel, Respiratory and Lung Transplant Physician from the Fiona Stanley Hospital, will be discussing the various aspects of lung transplantation. Dr Wrobel will provide patients and their carers insight into the transplantation process, the management and outcome of lung transplant recipients. 

We will also gain insight into the lived experience from a lung transplant recipient who will be sharing their story, and available to answer questions during the live question-and-answer session.


Dr Jeremy Wrobel – Dr Jeremy Wrobel is a Respiratory Physician specialising in pulmonary hypertension and lung transplantation. Dr Wrobel is based at the Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital. In addition to this is an active member of the Rare Lung Disease Clinical Advisory Committee at Lung Foundation Australia.  

Karen (patient representative) – Karen has lived with PF since 2008 and received a life-saving unilateral right lung transplant in 2015. Karen joins us to share her story and how she keeps well post-transplantation.
