Join us for our Lung Disease Education Seminar which offers tips and advice from experts to live well with lung disease – for patients, carers and health professionals.

Topics include

The role of the outpatient respiratory clinic

Dr Emma Ball, Respiratory Physician, Royal Hobart Hospital, will describe what to expect when attending the outpatient clinic and the investigations that could follow to help diagnose the underlying respiratory condition.

Exercise for life

Bethany Crane, Exercise Physiologist, will speak about exercise, the benefits and how often you should exercise.

Air travel with a lung condition

Lynette Reid, Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist, Royal Hobart Hospital, will provide some information and practical advice regarding travelling with a lung condition.

Asthma overview

Debra Banks, Asthma Educator, Asthma Foundation of Tasmania, will provide an overview of asthma and the role of the Asthma Foundation in Tasmania.
