COPD Pharmacy Online Training

Lung Foundation Australia’s PRT Online has become an essential professional development opportunity for health professionals involved in, or interested in delivering Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Heart Failure – Online Training

The Lungs in Action Heart Failure training is an educational module designed to increase knowledge and awareness for those health professionals who are exercising people with Heart Failure, or who work as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team that provide these services.

Lungs in Action – Full Instructor Training

The Lungs in Action program has been designed to provide training for physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, fitness instructors and personal trainers to deliver a community-based exercise maintenance program. The full instructor training involves an online theory course plus a face-to-face mentoring component.

The Lungs in Action program, run by accredited instructors is for people with stable chronic lung disease who have completed a Pulmonary Rehabilitation program and people with stable NYHA Class II and Class III Heart Failure who have completed Heart Failure Rehabilitation.

Lungs in Action – Online Theory Training

Lungs in Action Online Theory course is a continuing education tool for those health professionals who:

  • exercise people with chronic stable lung conditions and/or heart failure;
  • are a part of a broader multi-disciplinary team that provide these services; or
  • who are simply looking to expand their knowledge and understanding about current evidence-based approaches to exercise safety, programming and management of limitations with this patient group.

Asbestos-Related Disease/Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma Online Nurse Education Program

Image - ARD-MPM Nurse EducationThe ARD/MPM Nurse Education Program has been designed to help nurses develop an understanding of best practice care for patients with ARD/MPM. The course is conducted as a fully facilitated program, by Nurse Educator – Judy Rafferty.  Each course intake will consist of 10-15 Nurses and will undertake 3 – 4 course periods per year.
