Melbourne Better Living with Your Lung Disease Patient Seminar

Lung Foundation Australia’s Information and Support Centre has been busy scheduling the upcoming seminars for 2017 and we look forward to bringing these to locations near you. Last year, we were fortunate to receive funding from community grants which assisted in covering the costs of some of our existing events, as well as bringing seminars to other areas. One such contribution was from the Meg and Frank Sims Fund, a charitable fund account of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, which helped fund the Melbourne seminar. Over 100 people attended to learn about bronchiectasis and about some of the new treatments available for lung disease. Those who attended also appreciated the opportunity to interact with like-minded people and share their personal experiences. Speaker presentations can be found at http://lungfoundation.com.au/patient-support/events/patient-education-days/. Keep an eye on the upcoming editions of LungNet News for details of the 2017 Patient Seminars.
