C.O.P.E – COPD Online Patient Education Program
Lung Foundation Australia has partnered with BUPA Health Foundation to develop an online patient education program for those living with chronic lung disease, predominantly COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). The program has been developed in consultation with health professionals and the patient and carer community. The educational content was adapted from our popular book “Better Living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease – A Patient’s Guide” which was developed under the Lung Foundation’s COPD National Program and in partnership with Queensland Health.
The main purpose of this online patient education program is to enable those who do not have access to a pulmonary rehabilitation program to undertake the educational component of pulmonary rehabilitation from their own homes.
The online patient education program is free to access and aims to be interactive while still enabling easy access and usability.
