Lung Foundation Australia, in collaboration with the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis (CRE-PF), look forward to presenting this webinar on managing your interstitial lung disease (ILD).  

This live webinar featuring Dr Kelly Chen, Respiratory and Sleep Physician and Susanne Webster, ILD Clinical Nurse Consultant, will provide you with information and tips to help you manage your ILD.    s

During this session, we’ll cover:  

  • Air pollution and ILD
  • General self-management techniques including ways to help manage fatigue, health and wellbeing  
  • Managing working life with ILD  

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in real-time discussions.  

Meet our speakers: 

Dr Kelly Chen:  

Dr Kelly Chen is a respiratory and sleep physician currently working in the interstitial lung disease clinic at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and is a staff specialist at Gosford hospital. Her practice covers a wide range of respiratory and sleep pathologies including interstitial lung disease, asthma, COPD, sleep disorders and lung cancer. 

Susanne Webster 

Interstitial Lung Disease Clinical Nurse Consultant

Susanne Webster is a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Susanne is committed to providing patient-centred nursing care and values evidence-based care. She enjoys facilitating care using a multidisciplinary approach to coordinate comprehensive care for her patients. She oversees the largest Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic in Australia caring for patients across NSW. She has a special interest in patient education, non-malignant palliative care and health access equity. She is the co-author of many ILD publications contributing to research in the area of diagnosis, treatment and patient management.
