Overview

An occupational lung disease, or work-related lung disease, is a name given to a group of lung conditions. These conditions are caused by breathing in dust, fumes, gases and other dangerous materials.

Occupational lung disease can be difficult to diagnose, and getting the diagnosis can feel overwhelming and frightening. Especially as the medical information you receive may feel complex. Each condition is managed differently, however, there is help and support available to make your day easier.
