How is lung cancer treated? Lung cancer can be treated in so many different ways depending on what kind of lung cancer you have. I think for me, my only treatment that was available was surgery, but I do know there are lots of other treatments available for stage one, two, three and four.

I think it’s very important as a lung cancer patient to find out what is the best treatment for yourself. And to make a decision is very important because you’re going through so much to be told you’ve got lung cancer and you’ve got to answer, you’ve got to make decisions so quickly. And I think going to see the doctors, go with somebody, write questions down because there will always be questions you want answered that you wish you’d ask, and you hadn’t remembered what they were. Make sure that someone’s there with you. Seek a second opinion if you have to. It doesn’t matter.

We continue to see changes in the treatment for lung cancer because research plays a huge part, and over the last few years, we’ve seen a huge, huge change in it. Treatments have increased.
