This week, 18-24 May, is National Volunteer Week and we would like to thank all of you, our amazing community of volunteers and supporters.
Volunteers and supporters like you are the lifeblood of our organisation. Your ongoing support, whether it be taking part in committees or campaigns, sharing our messages, fundraising or attending events, makes a real and positive difference. You are helping to ensure Australians impacted by lung disease or lung cancer have access to the care and support they need. The work of Lung Foundation Australia simply wouldn’t be possible without you. Together, we’re changing lives.
In 2019 we were honoured to have 320 clinical and research volunteers and over 670 patient volunteers committing their time and skill to help us improve the outcomes for people living with lung disease and lung cancer.
Stronger together
It is more important than ever that we come together as a community to find new ways to work together and support all Australian families impacted by lung disease and lung cancer. While volunteering in person isn’t possible right now, the generosity of our community in sharing our campaign messages and donating online is helping us keep up with the high demand for information and support during this challenging time.
There are a number of ways you can get involved including advocacy, fundraising or becoming a regular giver. To find out more, please contact us by clicking the button below.
