In honour of Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, we look forward to presenting this webinar to provide insights into the effects of air quality on lung health from experts in the field. The presentations will address topics such as air pollution, bushfires, wood smoke and the key takeaways for those living with a lung condition. 

You will have the opportunity to submit questions to the speakers upon registration and during the live presentation.

Meet our panellists: 

A/Prof Luke Knibbs 

Luke is Associate Professor, Epidemiology and Public Health Data Science, at the School of Public Health, The University of Sydney, and a Chief Investigator with the Centre for Safe Air and the Centre for Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis. Luke undertakes research and teaching on the health effects of environmental risk factors, with a long-standing interest on outdoor air pollution.

Professor Fay Johnston 

Fay is a public health physician and environmental epidemiologist. Her major work is in air quality and health, especially relating to the health impacts of bushfire smoke, biomass smoke, pollen and other airborne hazards. Fay is also the lead investigator of the Centre for Safe Air.
