World Cancer Day
To celebrate World Cancer Day, we invite you to join our campaign and participate in an exciting announcement.
Why do we need to make noise?
- Lung cancer doesn’t discriminate and can affect anyone.
- Lung cancer remains the biggest cancer killer globally, effecting men and women, young and old, smokers and those who have never smoked. More than 23 Australians die from lung cancer every single day. This number is expected to increase to nearly 30 deaths each day by 2020.
- The symptoms of lung cancer can be vague, often resulting in late diagnosis.
- The impact of lung cancer can only be reduced with increased awareness, research into better treatment options and the urgency of early detection.
What is our single message?
Today is #WorldCancerDay! Spread the word that #anyonecangetlungcancer. Early detection can save your life.
