The National Lung Cancer Screening Program uses low-dose CT scans to check for lung cancer in high-risk people without any symptoms. The goal is to find cancer early, when treatment works best.
Funded by the Department of Health Disability and Ageing, Lung Foundation Australia is working closely with the following organisations:
- National Rural Health Alliance
- National Disability Services
- Australian Multicultural Health Collaboration, an initiative of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia
- LGBTIQ+ Health Australia
- Lived Experience Australia
To develop tailored National Lung Cancer Screening Program resources to meet the needs of people:
- living in rural and remote areas
- living with disability
- experiencing mental health challenges
- from multicultural communities
- from LGBTIQA+ communities.
These resources for priority populations are currently in development and will be available from July 2026. To receive a copy when they become available, please complete the form below and we’ll email them to you.
Physical mail-outs can be requested by selecting the relevant option in the form. Once submitted, we’ll organise delivery to your nominated address.
