LIA – Essendon is intended for people who have completed pulmonary and heart failure rehabilitation in the last 6 months. Exercises incorporated into the program consist of strengthening/resistance training of major muscles as well as cardiovascular exercise. Participants are encouraged to exercise at your own pace and take rests as needed. The class has a maximum of 10 participants per class and has a fun and friendly atmosphere. Participants are required to complete a 30minute initial consult upon referral to best individualise exercises to their need.
