How long do you live with stage 3 lung cancer?

Answer:

When you’re first diagnosed, you’ll be looking at the lung cancer survival rate statistics and there’s no denying they’re scary with just 58% of those diagnosed at stage 3 surviving more than 12 months. But those living with lung cancer are living better, longer lives thanks to the power of research and advancements in treatment.

How long do you live with stage three lung cancer? Well, for different people, it’s different life expectancies, but since I was diagnosed in March 2020, and now we’re in May 2020, I’ve been told that I won’t have shortness of life. I have a shortness of breath, but you get that with stage three lung cancer. With the chemo, I was one of the lucky ones and didn’t lose my hair. Hence, I haven’t shaved because I was having to lose it. But I mean, I will undertake immunotherapy in the next seven to eight weeks and I’ll have that for approximately twelve months. That’s only to build my immune system back up. Lung Cancer Search and Rescue. Hope in every breath.
