Lung Foundation Australia is always there to guide and support people living with lung cancer or lung disease, as well as their families, friends and communities. We continue to raise awareness of lung cancer and lung diseases and advocate for a fairer share of investment in treatments and research.

As a national charity, we rely on the generosity of the community to continue operating our life-changing research and support programs. Please consider getting involved or making a donation, it doesn’t have to be a lot, every dollar makes a difference.

How’s the Lung Foundation Australia helping Aussies, like us, living with lung cancer? The Lung Foundation Australia helps to bring patients, their families and the community together as a whole and provide a support network for all of those people. They provide much needed funds for lung cancer research through the Australasian Lung Cancer Trials Group, of which I’m actually a member of and a consumer representative.

So, I represent the interests of patients and their families in lung cancer research to ensure that they actively help in providing great outcomes for patients. Additional to this, the Lung Foundation Australia helps to raise much needed funds for that research and other active programs. They provide a nurse support. So, if a lung cancer patient has questions that they need to ask or answer, when it’s outside of clinical times, they can always ring the lung cancer nurse and get information to help them and assist them.

So, the Lung Foundation plays an active role in supporting families and the patients and bringing together everyone so that they can have better outcomes. Lung Cancer Search and Rescue. Hope in every breath.

Misinformation is real, but Lung Foundation Australia is committed to empowering those living with lung cancer with the facts and support they need. Connect with us today for guidance, information and support.
