National Silicosis Prevention Strategy

Lung Foundation Australia will seek consultation on the design and development of the National Silicosis Prevention Strategy (NSPS) and accompanying National Action Plan (NAP). This consultation process will begin in February 2022 with a range of stakeholders.

How will the consultation work?

A series of face-to-face and virtual consultations will be conducted with a diverse range of individuals and organisations with an interest in silicosis. People impacted by silicosis, including their families and carers, are an important part of the consultation process, and will also be consulted throughout the development of the NSPS and NAP.

We invite you to contribute as you can, acknowledging the ongoing restrictions of COVID-19 and the significant challenges to many healthcare professionals and organisations at present. To express your interest in being involved in the consultation process, please complete the short form below.
