In honour of World Lung Cancer Day, we look forward to presenting this panel which will showcase the lived experiences of people living with lung cancer, and their carers.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with your lung condition for a while, hearing from others who understand what you are going through can make all the difference. Our panel will share their learnings, coping tips, and stories of hope to support you to live your best life with lung cancer.

A live Q&A session will be available for you to put forward your questions to our panel.

Date: Monday 1 August 2022

Time: 12:00pm (QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS), 11:30am (NT, SA), 10:00am (WA)

Meet our panelists

Mal, South Australia

She believes cancer has given her the opportunity to live consciously, and she has grabbed this opportunity with both hands.

Georgia, New South Wales

Georgia has been living with stage 4 Non-Small Cell Cancer for 3 and a half years and is living with the diagnosis as best she can. She is a mother of 2 children aged 13 and 15. Georgia has just gone back to work as a flight attendant, as well as working/volunteering at her kids’ school canteens. She loves yoga and walking with friends on the beach

Cheryl, Victoria

Cheryl was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer in 2021. She lives with her two best friends, her two dogs, Gizmo and Rags. She has always played a lot of sport until about age 69, and horse riding was her last sport. She is a member of Probus and was in rotary for many years holding various positions.
