Lung disease affects one in four Australians1, including men, women and children. It is our nation’s second leading cause of death,2 yet receives very little publicity, funding, research or support.
The impact on those affected is devastating.
People with lung disease experience significant delays in diagnosis, treatment and care. This can have an immense impact on their prognosis and general wellbeing.
Where does your money go?
Lung Foundation Australia is the only national charity supporting people of all ages affected by lung disease across Australia. Your generous gift will help us deliver more life-changing research and provide much-needed support services and advocacy for the millions of people affected by this neglected disease.
It is only through generous donations that we are able to continue making a genuine difference to Australians affected by lung disease.
See how your gift has helped, view annual report, here.
There are a number of ways you can support Lung Foundation Australia.
Give through work
Workplace giving is a simple, cost effective way to make donations regularly through your payroll. Donations are deducted from your pre-tax pay giving you an immediate tax deduction without the fuss of a claim at the end of financial year. Donations cost you less, your taxable income is reduced and we receive the full benefit of the donation.
You can give as much or as little as you like – every dollar makes a difference.
If your organisation doesn’t have a workplace giving program, you can ask for one to be established with Lung Foundation Australia nominated as a charity partner.
Alternatively, you can set up a regular giving donation, here.
