Lung Foundation Australia and 4DMedical uniting around a shared vision for lung health

Lung Foundation Australia has announced a new multi-year partnership with 4DMedical, bringing together two organisations committed to improving outcomes for people impacted by lung disease and lung cancer.

The partnership is grounded in a shared vision of Healthy Lungs for All and the belief that every Australian should have equitable access to high-quality care and support, regardless of where they live or their circumstances.

4DMedical is an Australian medical technology organisation specialising in advanced lung imaging. Its imaging solutions provide clinicians with detailed information about how the lungs function, helping inform the understanding and management of respiratory conditions.

Lung Foundation Australia CEO Mark Brooke said the partnership reflected the strong alignment between the two organisations.

“We’re excited to partner with 4DMedical, an organisation that shares our commitment to improving lung health and our vision of Healthy Lungs for All,” Mr Brooke said.

“For too many Australians, where they live or their circumstances continue to influence the care and support they can access. We share the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to receive the right care, at the right time.

“By working with organisations that share our purpose and values, we can strengthen our collective impact and help more Australians breathe easier and live well.”

The partnership aligns with Lung Foundation Australia’s 2026–2030 Corporate Plan and its commitment to collective action, recognising that strong partnerships are essential to extending reach, addressing gaps and creating meaningful change.

4DMedical Founder, Managing Director and CEO Andreas Fouras said the partnership reflected the organisations’ shared commitment to improving outcomes and access to care.

“We are proud to partner with Lung Foundation Australia and support our shared vision of a healthier future for all Australians,” Professor Fouras said.

“We believe everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from high-quality respiratory care, regardless of their location or circumstances.

“Lung Foundation Australia is a trusted national voice for people impacted by lung disease and lung cancer. We look forward to working together and supporting its important work across the Australian community.”
