This document outlines Lung Foundation Australia’s priorities for the Victorian state budget 2025-26. Lung Foundation Australia have identified five priorities requiring government action to improve the lung health of Victorians:
1. Increase access to Specialist Lung Cancer Nurses in Victoria
2. Help fund our clinician-led Respiratory Care Program to support Victorians living with COPD.
3. help fund the development of resources on air pollution to build the climate resilience of Victorians
4. help fund the development of e-cigarette resources for young adults.
5. Support local implementation of the National Lung Cancer Screening Program.
