We understand being diagnosed with a lung condition can have an enormous impact on you and your family. We want you to know you are not alone and that we are here to support you to live well with your lung disease. Lung Foundation Australia provides services and resources for people with many types of lung diseases, including Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and lung cancer. Information and Support Centre

Our Information and Support Centre team provides guidance, information and support, and connects you to relevant support services. This free and confidential service is available Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm (AEST) (excl. public holidays). Through this service, you can access our telephone-based Respiratory Care Nurse, Lung Cancer Support Nurse, Lung Cancer Social Worker, plus a range of peer support programs, exercise programs and other resources and information. Respiratory Care Nurse

The Respiratory Care Nurse telephone service is available for people living with COPD or bronchiectasis. Our highly skilled nurse can provide guidance on all aspects of your condition according to the management guidelines. Free call 1800 654 301 or complete the form above.

Lung Cancer Support Nurse

This free service is run by highly experienced oncology nurses who can provide evidence-based information regarding diagnosis, treatment, symptoms. This is a telephone-based service for patients, families and carers. Free call 1800 654 301 or complete the form above.

Lung Cancer Social Worker

This is a free telephone-based service for people living with lung cancer, and their family and carers. Our experienced social worker can help you to navigate the practical and emotional impact of your diagnosis. Book via the form above or free call 1800 654 301.

Peer support

Lung Foundation Australia offers a range of peer support programs and groups that can connect you with others who share a similar lived experience. The Silicosis Support Nurse telephone service is free of charge and available for people living with silicosis, as well as their family and carers. Our nurse can provide information and support around understanding and living with silicosis, as well as provide guidance about relevant support services.
