Our Lung Cancer Screening Helpline is a free service for individuals and healthcare professionals seeking to understand the National Lung Cancer Screening Program.
Our trained nurses are available to:
- Answer questions about eligibility, the screening process, and results
- Talk through any concerns about the program
- Connect with additional support services and resources if needed.

If you do not speak English

If you would like to speak to someone in a language other than English, you can still call the Lung Cancer Screening Helpline. We can help you through the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National).
- Call TIS National on 131 450 Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm AEST.
- Say the language you need.
- Wait on the line for an interpreter (it may take a few minutes).
- Ask the interpreter to contact Lung Foundation Australia’s Lung Cancer Screening Helpline on 1800 654 301 (option 2).
- Once you’re connected, you and the interpreter can talk to our friendly nurses together.
This service is free, and interpreters are available for over 150 languages.
