Our panellists are strong advocates for building awareness, resources, and connections to support those living with Bronchiectasis.

Meet our panellists:
Prof Lucy Morgan
Professor Lucy Morgan is a respiratory physician in Sydney with clinical roles at Concord Hospital, Nepean Hospital and Macquarie University Private Hospital. She has a special interest in Bronchiectasis and is a member of the Australasian Bronchiectasis Consortium. Lucy is also the Chair of the Board for Lung Foundation Australia.
Kylie, WA
Kylie has been living with Bronchiectasis since 1996 and has been managing chronic cough and other respiratory conditions since infancy. She is a teacher and currently runs her own business training teachers and schools. Kylie enjoys nature, singing, dancing, reading, netball and spending time with her chickens, ducks and sheep and with her dog Daisy.

Associate Professor Lissa Spencer is a clinical specialist physiotherapist working in pulmonary rehabilitation and chest physiotherapy at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.
Prof Rachel Thomson
Professor Rachel Thomson is a Head of the Greenslopes Clinical Unit, Thoracic Physician and clinical researcher working at Greenslopes Private Hospital. She has an international reputation for Nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) disease and is a member of the Australasian Bronchiectasis Consortium.
Bonnie Boezeman, NSW
Bonnie was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis in 2018. She has been living in Sydney for the past 40 years after arriving here from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has had a successful executive career in Europe and Australia, and is passionate about philanthropy, launching in 2018 a scholarship for Australian Nurses to receive a 2 year master’s degree in healthcare leadership, as well as a National Scholarship program for young girls between the age of 9 to 16 to learn how to play golf.
Shaun Murray, VIC
Shaun has been living with Bronchiectasis since 2019. He lives in Geelong and works as an electrician/refrigeration mechanic.
