COPD is a term that covers a few lung conditions, including Emphysema and Chronic bronchitis. While we can’t cure it yet, with the right diagnosis and treatment, you can do many things to manage it and breathe easier.
Lung cancer is a complex disease with many confusing medical terms. Once doctors know the type of lung cancer you have and what stage it is, they’ll create a treatment plan just for you. It’s important to look after your mental health as well as your physical health as best you can.
Bronchiectasis is a lung disease that makes it harder to breathe. The walls of breathing tubes in your lungs get damaged by inflammation or infections. People with bronchiectasis often get chest infections that keep coming back. These are called flare-ups.
Pulmonary fibrosis (PF) is a progressive disease that causes scarring of your lungs. This can make deep breathing much harder. There are many types of PF. It’s important for your doctors to find the underlying type of PF so you can get the best treatment and care.
