As of 2018, Lung Foundation Australia will be holding our national Lung Health Awareness Month campaign in May rather than November.
The move will allow us to focus Lung Health Awareness Month communications on disease and symptom awareness, while strengthening our efforts in November to focus on disease specific initiatives such as Lung Cancer Awareness Month, World COPD Day and Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Month.
During Lung Health Awareness Month in May, we will be working to raise awareness of the symptoms of lung disease, the fact that anyone can be affected, and to remind people about the steps they can take to check in with their lung health via our two minute Lung Health Checklist at lungfoundation.com.au/checkin
Your support in promoting this initiative will be greatly appreciated. More information about how you can get involved will be available shortly. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Danielle Aami, Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications via danielle@lungfoundation.com.au.
