Sydney fundraiser, Bronwyn Raymond, completed the 96km challenging Kokoda Track in August 2017 on the one year anniversary of her beloved father’s passing from lung cancer. Bronwyn exceeded her fundraising target and raised more than $4,500 to go toward lung cancer research.
Melbourne supporter, Katarina Buzanin, together with her family and friends has raised over $5,000 to date in loving memory of her mother Jackie who passed away from lung cancer at just 55 years of age.
Adelaide supporter, Richard Irving, organised two information stands and two historical walks and raised almost $2,000 for lung cancer research.
Brisbane engineer, Francisca Satya, dedicated 2017 to fundraising for lung cancer research in memory of her mother Lilyan, who died from lung cancer last year just four months after diagnosis. Supported by Councillor Angela Owens, local member for Calamvale, Francisca organised the Drewvale Family Fun Day and has raised almost $3,000.
Kalgoorlie supporter, Kirsty Kolatowicz, hosted a local Shine a Light on Lung Cancer event last month and raised more than $1,400 for lung cancer research, doubling her fundraising efforts from the previous year.
