This 2 hour module provides an overview of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listed medicines used to treat Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), according to severity stage.
By the end of this module participants will be able to:
- Outline the medicines used to manage COPD
- Describe the actions of medicines used to manage COPD
- Discuss the medicine requirements at each severity stage of COPD
- Discuss the medicines used to manage an exacerbation of COPD.
